He has over 30 years experience in his field and his many credentials include qualifications as an Art Historian, Lecturer, and Art Consultant to many well-known auction galleries, collectors, and Art and Antique dealers from all over the world. Despite offering such an amazing service at hiddenfortune, Daniel Hersh will not charge you a fortune. In fact, he only charges a very reasonable, one off fee of $90 per item. This is far lower than you would expect to pay at an auction house—their fees are typically 15-20% of the value. Other appraisal services charge between $74-$100 per hour for their time.
Written documents are subject to a slightly different scale of fees. For those documents written on official stationery, Daniel will charge between $78 and $90 per item depending on the time needed to research each piece.
One of Daniel’s other clients had a painting appraised and it turned out to be worth several thousand dollars. She still only had to pay $90!
Hiddenfortune also does ebay appraisals. If you wish to buy or sell an item on ebay, why not check its value with hiddenfortune first. An ebay appraisal is the best way to make sure you make as much money as possible.
